The Samiti is committed to the holistic development of students — intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
The Samiti manages and supports various educational institutions including schools, teacher training colleges and vocational centres. Its approach to education is based on the ancient Indian philosophy of the Pancha Kosha — the five sheaths of human personality — which aims at the all-round development of a child.
Through its network of institutions, the Samiti strives to create responsible citizens who are proud of their cultural heritage and are also equipped to face the challenges of the modern world.
The educational philosophy of Lok Shiksha Samiti is inspired by the Vedic concept of Pancha Kosha — the five sheaths that constitute a human being. Education, according to this philosophy, must address all five dimensions of personality:
